VHRM
Accurate evaluation of Voltage Holding Ratio for comprehensive industrial screening
The Voltage Holding Ratio (VHR) is a direct measure of the resistivity of an LC-cell element and thus an important measure for its performance under active matrix multiplexing conditions.
The VHRM 105 is a computer controlled turnkey VHR measurement system with generation of all required electrical signals and high-resolution data recording, an external electronics unit for driving the field effect transistor and for recording and processing of the voltage across the LC-element under test. The software provides a database for test cells, measuring parameters and results.
- Accurate evaluation of the Voltage Holding Ratio of LC-test-cells versus electrical driving (voltage, frame-time) and temperature(optional).
- Support of comprehensive industrial screening procedures by optimized jigs and fixtures for up to eight test-cells and software features.
- Software for statistical evaluation of a large number of results.
- High precision at low VHRs by improved electrical control of the FET
- High precision due to automatic and adaptive compensation of gain and offset errors
- Low noise due to improved shielding
- High resolution at all data voltages by automatic gain adaption
- Protection against transistor damage by electro-static discharges (ESD)
