Numerical modeling of disclinations in Blue-Phases
The numerical modeling of the configuration of blue phases in short-pitch chiral liquid crystals is now possible with a novel implementation of the Q-tensor approach by Dr. Henning Wöhler. This software allows e.g. the computation of disclinations in BP1 and BP2 configurations.
